Nava Mekong has finished its yearly maintenance since 04th July 2018. The Cruise is ready to welcome guest this July. There are new extra services available on board as below:

New Product: Food tour in Luang Prabang
Explore Luang Prabang and get your taste buds going by trying local street food and visiting food manufacturing places not seen by tourists. The food tour is designed with walking and cycling to maximize your experience in the peaceful town but still safe to try different local foods and discover places you wouldn’t otherwise go and have some fun along the way. At the end of the tour, you will have chance to enjoy a game of “Petanque” or “Boulle”, another French relict, that is quite popular amongst locals before coming back to your hotel, finish the half day interesting tour.

New attraction: Manda Lao Elephant Conservation Center
Located approximately 20 kilometers from Luang Prabang city center, pass through Ban Phanom; Elephant Village and the drive takes about 30 minutes. Mandalao Elephant Conservation is the best choice for tourist who is looking for Non-riding Elephant experience, Elephant protection education and animal welfare.
With 9 Elephants (8 Adult Elephants and 1 baby Elephant) and over 30 hectares of land rented from both Government and Private Parties for making overnight feeding grounds and trail systems for Elephants, Manda Lao could accommodate big groups upon request as well as offering private behind the scenes tours with one of the owners if clients looking for the most comprehensive and unique experience.
Mandalao provides optional footwear/ boots for guests designed specifically for muddy and slippery conditions. Umbrellas are available it it’s rain. Guests are provided with water, sunscream and bug spray. Here is the Tour Itinerary: o HDE - Therapeutic Trek (Morning Half day): Picked up time is 08:30 and drop-off is around 13:00 pm. Limited to eight people. o HDE - B - New beginnings (Morning Half day): Picked up time is 07:45 and drop-off is around 13:00 pm. Small group size with only four people. o HDE - W - Into the wild (Morning Half day): Pick up time is 09:15 am and drop-off is around 14:30 pm. Limited to six people. o HDE - EXP - Communicating with Elephants (Afternoon Half day): Pick up time is 14:00 pm and drop-off is around 17:30 pm. Limited to six people. o FDE - Inside the Hearts of Elephants (Full day Tour): Pick up time is 08:30 am and drop-off is around 16:00 pm. Limited to eight people for the first half of the day and maximum of only four people for the second half of the day.
