Day1. Luang Prabang – Pakbeng (B/L/D)
You will be transferred to the pier and join the Luang Say Cruise. (Please be at pier not later than 6.30 am) Luang Say boat leaves Luang Prabang pier at 7.00am for a cruise up the Mekong to Pakbeng, a small riverside village ideal for a stopover between Luang Prabang and Houei Xay. The boat is cruising to Pak Ou Village, at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you will visit the Tam Thing Caves of a Thousand Buddhas. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board then stop at a hill tribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao rice alcohol production. Arrive at Pak Beng around sunset and check in at Luang Say Lodge. Dinner is served at the Luangsay Lodge on the terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

Day2. Pakbeng – Houeixay (B/L/-)
Enjoy breakfast at lodge. At 07:00 board the Luang Say Cruise for the second leg of the cruise. En route one stop is made to observe rural life along the Mekong and observe minorities. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board and then continue to Houei Xay where you will arrive before 5.00pm. You will make your own arrangement upon arrival at Houei Xay pier of Laos side (you may proceed to Chiang Rai in Thailand on the same day).

– From 01 Jan 2015 to 30 Apr 2015 departs every Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday.
– From 01 May 2015 to 30 Sep 2015 departs every Wednesday & Saturday.
– No operation in June for maintenance.
