Laos will organise an international music festival “Vang Vieng Music Fest 2016” in Vang Vieng district, Vientiane province,  16 to 17 December.
The festival organised by Smart Event Organisers and Indee Records, organized the second time and this yer, the venue will be in front of Lom Cave.
Many well-known bands, vocalists and DJs from both Laos and neighbour countries have been invited from the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea.
Last year was the first time the festival was held and it attracted an audience of about 40,000, mostly from Vientiane.

Laos will organise an event to promote tourism in Vientiane province, 10 to 16 December, in Thoulakhom district.
The festival aims to promote tourist sites, culture, the livelihood of ethnic minorities in the central province.
The government and private tour operators from Vientiane capital and the provinces of Vientiane, Bolikhamsai, Khammouane, Xaisomboun and Savannakhet will participate in the event.
The one-week event will feature a trade fair, parades, traditional performances, a Lao food festival, singing contests, boat races, a Lao traditional fashion show and sports competitions.
