Luang Prabang won "The Top city to visit"
The annual vote campaign from Wanderlust Travel Magazine has showed the result, in which Luang Prabang won the first prize on "Top city to visit in 2015".

Upcoming Event: Boun Pha Vet
Boun Pha Wet is considered as the biggest Buddhist ceremony in Laos, which celebrates the virtue of Prince Vessantara. During the the festival a story board with drawing pictures describing his story is hanged around the festival's hall for everyone to read and follow the story. 
In the afternoon a selected monks from different temples take turn to recite the Jataka tale Phravetsandone chapter by chapter until fully completed. In this festival, it is also an occasion for senior abbots to ordain new monks.

New direct flight to Changzou
The inaugural flight, QV886, took place last week, starting with a ceremony at Vientiane’s Wattay International Airport in the presence of officials from the Chanzhou Weitali National Air Travel Service.
Flighrs depart on Monday and Friday. The service is the fifth direct flight to China by Lao Airlines. 
Nava Mekong
applies low season policy
Nava Mekong dinner cruise will switch into low season departure time from 1st of March 2015, in which all dinner cruise depart at 5:30pm and return by 7:30pm.
Beside that, only lunch cruises remains selling shared-table. The dinner cruise will be sold per table.
