From September 2016, Elephant Village will officially apply no Howdah (Elephant seat) for all of their Elephant tours. For Shangri Laos, still keeps Howdah as usual.
This change will offer clients new experience while riding the Elephant. The Camp owner also hopes to receive more feedback from clients in order to improve the quality of services, especially with the riding tour.

Balloon riding is one of the most highlights activities in Vang Vieng, which gives tourists a chance to see the beautiful rural scenery, green mountain and the famous limestone formations of Vang Vieng.
Started in 2010, Lao Balloon is the only company to offer ballooning in all of Laos.
The ride lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
Sunrise and sunset flights in baskets for 4,6 & 8 passengers.

Flight 1: Sunrise – 6:30 am pickup, 7 am flight
Flight 2: Sunrise – 7 am pickup, 7:40 am flight

After yearly maintenance, now Kamu Lodge is ready to welcome groups.
From August 2016, a new private pier has been completed for Nava Mekong and Kamu Lodge boat. The new boat pier will avoid the crowded during high season and give groups the private area and easy to access the boat.
Nava Mekong also official offers Free of Charge meal for Tour guide who accompanies group, with conditions that the name of guide must be registered on booking.

Featured Event:Boat Racing Festival in Luang Prabang
Boat Racing Festival is accompanied with Boun Haw Khao Padapdin in Luang Prabang from 26th August to 01st September 2016. During this festival, almost offices and stores in Luang Prabang will be closed. There will be a Market fair held between the street of Phouvao and National Museum. Vendors will sell and exhibit local products, agricultural goods, handicrafts products and many other things.
At 6:00 am, 01st September 2016, Alms giving ceremony will be held to pay respect at Wat Sene in the main street of penisular. Then, the Boat Racing Festival will be held in Nam Khan River at 09:00 am. Visitors will have chance to enjoy the interesting racing as well as music, excitement with locals.
